CALEDONIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY 2026 EVENTS

 

CHS MEETINGS AND OPEN HOUSES

The CHS meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.  The CHS does not meet the months of December through March, but Board meetings are held on a regular basis.

The April and November meetings are held at the Franksville Park Building, and the May through October meetings are held in the Botting Shed at the Caledonia Historical Village, 7330 5 Mile Rd.

Guest Speakers will be announced when appropriate.

Monthly open houses are held the third Sunday of the month May through October from Noon until 3 pm.  The buildings are open with docents available to answer questions.

2026 SPECIAL EVENTS

Save the dates for these upcoming events.  Specific information will be available closer to the event date.

May 16th, 2026–Mystery Dinner–it’s a speakeasy and flapper era–who dies and who did it?

June 6th, 2026–find CHS volunteers at the Racine Farmers Market at Festival Park from 9 am to 1 pm

June 21st, 2026–June Open House with docents in the buildings, but also kid’s activities day with games and era appropriate activities.

September 12th, 2026–Annual Barn Dance in the Botting Shed

December 4th and 5th, 2026–Annual Christmas Bake Sale with Santa.  Always delicious treats from the CHS bakers.

JOIN US

The grounds of the Caledonia Historical Village are open from dawn to dusk.  If you use the grounds for your professional photography, please make a donation.  The CHV is owned and operated by the volunteers of the Caledonia Historical Society, and is funded by donations, membership dues, and grants.  There are no governmental funds provided.
