BUZZING WITH ACTIVITY AT THE CALEDONIA HISTORICAL PARK
BUZZING WITH ACTIVITY??
What does that mean for the Caledonia Historical Society and the Caledonia Historical Park on 5 Mile Rd just east of Hwy 38?
- The renovation of the Botting Rd Barn will begin in earnest. There is lots to do. We have siding to replace. We have siding to repair. We have a stairway to put in place so we can easily get to the second floor. We need windows fixed. We need doors placed and repaired. AND that is just the beginning! We need volunteers to help us with these projects and the maintenance and upkeep of all of our buildings and the park grounds. If you want to help, contact Chuck Miles at [email protected].
- The inventory of the CHS numerous artifacts is finally underway. The CHS is fortunate that a UWP history major volunteered to help us identify and catalog our many items. Any new donations need to have appropriate paper work completed by the donor and appropriate placement by the CHS receiving member.
- April 24th is clean up day to get the buildings and the park grounds ready for the season. See the following list of upcoming events. If you want to help, contact Chuck Miles at [email protected].
