CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES AT THE CALEDONIA HISTORIC VILLAGE
REPORT FROM SANTA CLAUS
The Caledonia Historical Society will be holding their annual Christmas Bake Sale in the 1877 Town Hall. Santa will be waiting to take pictures with young and old in the 1840 Log Cabin.
This all takes place at the Caledonia Historical Village, 7330 5 Mile Road, just east of Hwy 38 on 5 Mile Road.
Friday, December 6th, from 4 pm to 7 pm
Saturday, December 7th, from 11 am to 3 pm
Sunday, December 8th, from 12 pm to 3 pm

OPEN HOUSES
The final open house of the 2024 season at the Caledonia Historic Village was in October. The next open house with buildings open with docents will be in May, 2025.
THE 1927 CABOOSE
The caboose under went a renovation with repairs to the siding and a new paint job. Instead of red, the caboose is painted in yellow and green, the colors that were on the caboose when it was in use. Volunteers are always needed for the many projects at the Caledonia Historic Village. If you want to help, the work crew is at the CHV on Monday ad Thursday mornings from 9 am until Noon.
MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS.
The CHS meets monthly from April through November on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. The May through September meetings are held in the Botting Shed at the Caledonia Historic Village, just east of Hwy 38 on 5 Mile Rd. The April, October and November meetings are held at the Franksville Memorial Park.
CHS Board meetings will be held during the December through March time period. Members will be notified as to the date, times, locations.

VISIT THE BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS OF THE CALEDONIA HISTORICAL VILLAGE
The grounds are open from dawn to dusk. If you use the grounds for special event photography, please make a donation. The CHV is owned and operated by the volunteers of the Caledonia Historical Society with funding from membership dues, donations, grants and fund raising activities. There is no funding from a governmental source.
