Caledonia Historical Society Posted on May 10, 2016 by Bruce SeidnerMay 10, 2016

CHS IS EVERYWHERE!

The Caledonia Historical Society is on Facebook.  Like CHS at Caledonia Historical Society.  The Caledonia Historical Society is on Twitter.  Follow CHS at Caledonia Historical.  Check this website for updates regarding CHS events.  Visit the CHS Linwood Park Heritage Village, east of Hwy 38 on 5 Mile Rd.

THE BARN NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The Linwood Park Heritage Village is owned and operated and maintained by the Caledonia Historical Society.  CHS is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and all funds raised are used to maintain and enhance the Heritage Village.  Currently CHS needs support, cash or in-kind support, to pour a foundation for our early 1900’s barn.  We have the beams, but need the cement and the rebar.  Eventually the barn will be used for storage and museum exhibits.  The long range plan is to use the barn as a meeting place with a commercial kitchen.

We have several items for sale to help pay the expenses of maintaining our historic village.   The items include mugs, note cards, the book, “Milwaukee Then and Now,” bricks for the walk way by the Town Hall, and posters of the 1902 Depot.  The form to request bricks is now on this website.   We will soon be filling the brick requests we have to date and placing new bricks on the walk way.

RENT THE CHS HERITAGE VILLAGE FOR YOUR SPECIAL OCCASSION!

The Linwood Park Heritage Village grounds and historic buildings are available for rent.  Hold your wedding or family reunion while enjoying a historic vista.  For more information, use the Comments page on this website or contact Leroy Schmidt, the CHS President at [email protected].  What could be better than the beautiful back drop of Linwood Park Heritage Village for your special occasion!
