Eat at the Chancery in Pleasant Prairie–The next fund raiser is a special opportunity offered by the Chancery restaurant at 11900 108th St in Pleasant Prairie. Dine at the Chancery on January 25th and present a special flyer and 25% of all food sales will be donated to the CHS. Buy the Boston Store Community Days Coupon Book–Buy a Boston Store Community Days Book from a CHS volunteer for $5 and you support the mission of the CHS, and you get great Boston Store coupons such as the $10 off coupon on a $10 or more purchase. These coupons are good at any of the Bon-Ton stores and can be used March 1st through March 3rd. Contact Nancy Nelson at [email protected] or come to the Racine Boston Store entrance by the china section on January 27th, February 2nd, February 16th or February 27th and meet a friendly CHS volunteer.
Bake Sale, Bake Sale–Those famous CHS bakers are doing it again. Find the CHS volunteers with those delicious treats at the Educators Credit Union, 1300 90th Street, Sturtevant on February 23rd from 9 am to 6 pm and on February 24th from 9 am to 3 pm.

Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse/Deadwood is a bus tour scheduled for April 29th to May 4th. Mississippi Dreaming is a tour scheduled for June 3rd and 4th by bus to Dubuque and Potosi, WI. Huge Garage Sale–mark your calendars for May, 2018. The CHS plans to have a garage sale, silent auction and a live auction of significant/rare items in the buildings and on the grounds of the Caledonia Historical Village. More information will be shared as the date and times are firmed up, but it is going to be huge and exciting.
Real Racine Tour!
The Real Racine Tour of interesting places in Racine County is scheduled for May 5th. The Caledonia Historical Village on 5 Mile Rd just east of Hwy 38 will be open for visitors with docents available from 9 am to 5 pm.
Around The Corner!
Do not forget to watch the PBS program, Around the Corner with John McGivern on March 8th on Channel 10. The program is highlighting the villages of Caledonia and Wind Point and the CHV is spotlighted.

The Caledonia Historical Society meets the third Thursday of every month, and the next meeting is February 15th at 6:30 pm at the Caledonia-Mt. Pleasant Memorial Park, 9416 Northwestern Ave.
